Well suited to canoe camping and extended touring on quiet water rivers or lakes, the Discovery 174 is the right choice for the family that needs additional room and capacity.

Produced in a rotational molding process, the hull consists of a cross-linked outer layer, a foam core and a tough polyethylene inner layer. The result is a patented molded hull with inherent structural integrity. It does not require the clumsy metal framework or keelson found in single-layer linear polyethylene boats.

The Discovery 174 takes punishment...and bounces back for more. Best of all, Superlink3™’s characteristics contribute to the boat’s performance. Along with the sharp V-entry and straight keel line, Superlink3™’s glossy surface literally slips through the water. It glides over rocks and it’s quiet.

With black vinyl gunwales, polyethylene decks with grab handles, polyethylene contoured seats, and ash carrying yoke and thwart. Cane seats optional.
